Description

Product Overview

Low Alloy Wear Resistant Steel Plate is a high-performance engineering steel designed for extreme abrasion, heavy impact, and continuous wear environments.
It is manufactured through low-alloy design combined with controlled quenching and tempering heat treatment, resulting in a hardened microstructure with excellent wear resistance, high strength, and stable performance.
This material is widely used in industries where equipment failure due to wear leads to high downtime cost, production loss, and frequent maintenance replacement, such as mining, cement, construction machinery, metallurgy, and bulk material handling systems.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How does Low Alloy Wear Steel differ from standard carbon steel?

A: Thanks to its micro-alloyed composition (Cr, Mo, Ni, B) and Quenched & Tempered (Q&T) process, it offers 3 to 4 times the hardness and abrasion resistance of carbon steel, extending machinery lifespans significantly.

Q: Can these plates be welded on-site?

A: Yes. Despite their high hardness, the low carbon equivalent (CEV) design ensures good weldability. We recommend using low-hydrogen electrodes/wires and proper pre-heating techniques according to our welding guide.

Q: Do you provide Mill Test Certificates (MTC) with the shipment?

A: Absolutely. Every single shipment is accompanied by an original MTC conforming to EN 10204 3.1, detailing chemical analysis, mechanical properties, hardness test results, and UT status.

Q: Can you supply pre-cut and drilled wear liners directly?

A: Yes, our OEM fabrication workshop provides precision plasma/laser cutting, bending, and drilling (including countersunk holes) based on your custom engineering drawings.
