Product Overview

API 5L pipeline steel pipes are specifically designed for oil and gas transportation, suitable for various working conditions such as land, deep sea, high cold regions, and high corrosion environments, covering all steel grades from A25 to A, B, X42-X120. Seamless pipes (outer diameter 1/4" - 36", wall thickness 1.25 - 50mm), welded pipes (outer diameter 21.3 - 3620mm, wall thickness 1.65 - 65mm), support custom lengths ranging from 3 to 12 meters and surface treatments such as 3PE anti-corrosion.

Material and Chemical Composition

The chemical composition of API 5L steel pipes is differentiated and controlled according to PSL1/PSL2 grades. The PSL2 grade is controlled by low-sulfur and low-phosphorus ratios and micro-alloying, which enhances corrosion resistance and low-temperature toughness. Note: PSL2 grade API 5L steel pipes can achieve ultra-low sulfur control (S ≤ 0.010%), in accordance with the NACE MR0175 standard, and are resistant to hydrogen sulfide stress corrosion cracking (SSC), suitable for acidic conditions.
