Product Overview
Our stainless steel square tubes are mainly 304 and 316L stainless steel tubes. The main differences between 304 and 316L stainless steel tubes lie in their chemical composition, corrosion resistance, and applicable environments. 316L contains molybdenum, which makes it more corrosion-resistant, especially resistant to chloride corrosion, and is suitable for harsh environments; 304 is widely used in general environments.
Materials and Chemical Composition
The 200 series belongs to the economical austenitic stainless steel. Its core feature is to replace part of the nickel element with manganese (Mn) and nitrogen (N), which helps reduce production costs, but the corrosion resistance is relatively weak. Maufacturing Process
Seamless stainless steel square tube manufacturing process:
The process is as follows: preparation of round steel raw materials → heating → hot rolling perforation → cutting off the head → pickling → grinding → lubrication → cold rolling / cold drawing (processed into square cross-section) → degreasing → solution heat treatment → straightening → cutting the tube → pickling → final product inspection.
