Features
Mirror stainless steel plates are processed through precision polishing techniques to create a smooth, highly reflective surface that enhances visual appeal and decorative effects.
Made from premium stainless steel, these plates deliver superior resistance to corrosion and oxidation, making them suitable for various environments.
The polished mirror surface reduces dirt adhesion and allows easy cleaning, which helps maintain a bright and attractive appearance over time.
Mirror stainless steel plates can be cut, bent, and fabricated into various shapes, allowing flexible use in decorative panels, fixtures, and architectural components.

Material and Chemical Composition
The basic material of the mirror-finish stainless steel is mainly common austenitic stainless steel. In some scenarios, ferritic or martensitic stainless steel may also be used. The core components and functions are as follows:

Manufacturing Process
The mirror-finish stainless steel core undergoes surface polishing treatment. It is made from high-quality stainless steel substrate and is formed through multiple precise processes of grinding. The core process is as follows:
1. Base material pre-treatment: Select stainless steel base material without defects. Through annealing and acid washing, remove the surface oxide scale, oil stains and impurities to ensure the base material is clean and flat.
2. Rough Polishing: Use grinding wheels and abrasive belts to polish, eliminating unevenness and rolling marks on the surface, and preliminarily shaping the surface.
3. Step-by-step fine polishing: Follow the sequence of coarse sand → medium sand → fine sand, using the corresponding polishing wheels and polishing paste to refine the roughness. Clean the surface after each process to avoid the residue of abrasive materials.
4. Mirror polishing: Using ultra-fine polishing paste combined with a wool wheel for high-speed polishing, the surface roughness is reduced to Ra ≤ 0.01 μm, resulting in a clear mirror surface. For high-grade 10K and 12K, the polishing precision needs to be increased.
5. Post-processing: After cleaning to remove residues, performing passivation to enhance corrosion resistance, and applying a coating to prevent scratches, the final product is completed.

Typical Applications
Mirror-finish stainless steel plates are widely used in four major fields due to their high reflectivity, corrosion resistance and easy cleaning properties:
-Architecture: 8K mirror finish (0.8 - 1.5mm) for indoor use, 316 material (2 - 3mm) for outdoor use;
-Home appliances: 304 material for kitchen and bathroom / panel, BA/8K mirror finish for upgraded texture;
-Medical and food: 316L material for meeting cleanliness requirements;
-Industrial special: 304 ultra-thin plates / 316 automotive parts / custom art.

FAQs
Mirror stainless steel plates undergo additional polishing processes to achieve a reflective surface, while regular stainless steel sheets usually have standard finishes such as brushed or matte.
Standard mirror finishes may show fingerprints, but special coatings or treatments can be applied to reduce fingerprint visibility.
They can be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild cleaning solution to maintain the reflective surface without causing scratches.
