Materials and Chemical composition
310 stainless steel plate is an austenitic stainless steel with a high chromium (24-26%) and nickel (19-22%) content, forming a stable oxide layer that provides superior protection against oxidation and corrosion. Unlike standard stainless steel grades like 304 or 316, its enhanced alloy composition enables it to withstand prolonged exposure to high temperatures up to 1150°C (2100°F) in continuous service and 1035°C (1900°F) in intermittent service. It is non-magnetic and exhibits excellent workability, allowing for cold forming, welding, and machining with proper techniques.
