Heat Treatment Options
As Rolled (AR): Suitable for non-critical, thinner applications where supplementary stress refinement is not mandatory.
Normalized (N): Highly Recommended. Structural grain refinement through uniform heating above the upper critical temperature. Crucial for maximizing low-temperature impact toughness.
Stress Relieved / PWHT (Post-Weld Heat Treatment): Thermal relief to minimize residual manufacturing stresses in thick-walled sections.
